2. Second-Hand Goods & Vinyl Grading
-
Vintage Stock: Unless clearly stated as brand new or unplayed, all 7″ vinyl records offered on the Site are pre-owned vintage items dating primarily from the 1960s through to the 1990s.
-
Condition Grading: Items are visually inspected and, where appropriate, audio play-tested in accordance with established UK Goldmine and Record Collector grading standards. Minor surface marks consistent with age may occur on lower grades and will be noted in individual listings.
-
Record Sleeves: Listings explicitly state whether a record is supplied in an original picture sleeve, a vintage company sleeve, or a modern reproduction house sleeve.
-
Audio & Video Previews: On-demand audio rips or YouTube Short previews provided prior to sale reflect the exact physical copy being purchased.
3. Ordering, Pricing & Payments
-
Pricing Currency: All prices are displayed and payable in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
-
Payment Security: Payments are processed securely at checkout via third-party providers (PayPal, Stripe). We do not store, view, or process debit or credit card numbers directly.
-
Contract Formation: Your order constitutes an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we formally dispatch your goods and issue dispatch confirmation via email.
-
Order Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, contains an inadvertent pricing error, or if payment cannot be verified.
4. Postage, Packaging & Delivery
-
Archival Packaging: Records are shipped with the vinyl placed in a fresh white paper inner sleeve alongside its original or reproduction sleeve to avoid transit seam-splits. Both are protected inside a high-gauge polythene outer sleeve and dispatched in a rigid cardboard Defendapak mailer.
-
Postage Charges: Standard UK delivery is charged at a flat rate of £2.99 via Royal Mail Large Letter.
-
Fulfillment Time: Orders are typically dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. Delivery timescales are estimates and we are not liable for standard courier delays once an item is accepted into the Royal Mail network.
5. 14-Day Cancellation Rights & Returns
-
Right to Cancel: Under UK Distance Selling regulations, you have the statutory right to cancel and return your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your items.
-
Condition on Return: Returned records must be sent back in the identical condition, packaging, inner paper sleeves, and outer polythene covers in which they were delivered.
-
Return Postage: Unless the record is damaged in transit, defective, or significantly misdescribed compared to the listing, the buyer is responsible for return postage costs.
-
Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If an order arrives damaged or differs from its listing description, contact
hello@craseyrecords.comwithin 14 days of delivery with photos to arrange a replacement or full refund, including original delivery fees.
